Dealer Notes

Dodge's legendary Demon is a car that lives up its name like none other. At the time of its release for the 2018 model year, the Demon instantly claimed the throne of fastest production car from 0-60 MPH. At an almost unbelievable 2.3 seconds (2.1 with rollout), this tops the Bugatti Chiron AND the Tesla P100D in 0-60 time, and with rear wheel drive. The list of other records the 840 HP Demon breaks and other "firsts" it achieved is a long one, and includes: Highest HP v8 ever produced, world's fasted quarter-mile production car (9.65 at 140 MPH), World's first production car to do a wheelie, most G forces produced during acceleration first production car with drag radials and drag-specific suspension, and first production car banned by the NHRA. Another hilarious yet impressive accolade the Demon also boasts is its ability to run a faster quarter mile than many sports cars while in ECO mode, clocking an 11.59! The Demon is a muscle car through and through, with 315 width Nitto NT05R drag radials and the massive hood scoop making it unmistakable from a wide-body hellcat. Just firing up the Demon in a parking lot can set off alarms. Normal around-town driving is not normal at all, because breathing on the gas pedal induces the loud whine of the supercharger, and the terrifying yet intoxicating exhaust note will leave you wanting to leave two black marks at every light you stop at. The sheer brutality of the way this car drives reminds you constantly that the Demon is a purpose-built drag machine. The acceleration at full throttle is the most intense and visceral acceleration most people will ever experience. Because of the fact that the Dodge Demon was only produced as a 2018 model year and just over 3000 examples were produced, and each Demon model is serialized from SRT, the Demon is an excellent choice for collectors or even for enthusiasts who prefer to enjoy their investment with little depreciation. There was no 2019 or 2020 model, Dodge confirmed there will be no more Demons produced, and no Demon option for the Charger lineup either. Because of the incredible hype around the Demon when it exploded into the market and the limited availability, companies such as Hagerty and Forbes have listed the Demon as a future collectible. • The most awesome car in my 40 years of driving.

My 2014 Challenger R/T is a great combination of looks, performance, features, and comfort. The retro exterior styling was a must for me. The performance was nearly a must and it does not disappoint. The modern features are wonderful. The car is very comfortable (and fun) to drive.
  • Great Muscle Car, with smaller but powerful engine

I have the "fully loaded" model that includes a technology package, adaptive cruise control, navigation, moonroof, premium wheels, backing camera and it is very efficient, but also very quick. Interiors are pretty ample, as it is the only Muscle Car (Camaro, Mustang & Challenger) that fits 5 people.... and it does. I frequently have my wife, 18, 17 and 11 year olds riding with me and they do alright. I love my Challenger.

I really love this car - it's a head turner. I bought mine used with 1200 miles, saving over $11k in the process (due mainly to public demand and the subsequent dealer mark-up). I'm happy to see that since buying last July (2009) that I am still well in the black on this car. I have modded mine but maintained every little part (down to valve caps and bulbs) so that a future purist may easily return this numbered first edition car to factory stock. I agree with some of the reviews here that the Ram's heads do not belong on the car (made for the trucks IMHO) and I have replaced all mine with nostalgic Challenger logos (except for the steering wheel - haven't quite figured out how to get around that one with the airbag). The interior was kind of bland but (additional) carbon fiber and some well placed billet accents have brought it to life. The trunk is MASSIVE. The only negative things I could say about the car are: (1) The huge blind spot created by the large C pillars - I can deal with this though because I feel that the C pillars are necessary for that nostalgic look and you get used to it. (2) The body has minor factory blemishes that could've been worked out better. (3) Many of the mods I made should've been factory options or standard - this really isn't a bad thing as they make my car unique amongst 3rd gen Challengers. (4) Too many of these became trailer queens - get out and drive the car fools!! Other than that, Dodge has nailed it! You Camaro owners can continue to eat your hearts out! (I'd say the same for the Mustang but it is the only Ford I am fond of - remember, the Challenger and Camaro went away for many years, the Mustang simply evolved). I could go on forever but go test drive one, you'll see.
